“We’ve always done it that way” is a proven method of failure, in the V.U.C.A world we now live in (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous).

 

So, the message is clear from you; in today’s market place, to stay ahead, you have to develop a “change-ready” culture – and you also have to be clear about what you’re changing, why you’re changing it and how good the benefits of changing will be when embedded. If these things are not clear, then you’ll never be able to successfully convey the need for the change to your teams, who will hanker after the way it’s always been done and you’ll be back where you started … or worse.
